About the Author

Larry Berglas is a writer, teacher, musician and practicing attorney based in Westchester County, New York. His eclectic solo practice, ArtBizLaw.com, includes a focus on the area of art business law and related areas of practice. Since 1990, Larry has been helping artists, musicians, web-site developers, writers, photographers and other creative individuals resolve legal problems ranging from copyright, trademark, litigation and contract issues to wills, guardianship, estates, and trusts matters. He has been teaching the topic of Arts Law for over twenty five years.

Larry’s freelance articles have been published in The New York Times (What’s New in Mannequins), Travel & Leisure (Books About the Beach), DECOR, Westchester Magazine, Hudson Valley, the International Interactive Communications Society newsletter, at PremierGuitar.com (Anatomy of a Blues Jam), and at thegolfexpert.com, among other publications. He plays acoustic and electric guitar and during his college days, Larry performed at Clearwater festivals along the Hudson River and at Folk City in Greenwich Village among other venues. These days, he occasionally may be found playing guitar at local blues jams.
